A dream holiday in the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site with Rosengarten and Latemar Mountains
In our region, holidaymakers are truly spoilt for choice: hikes, climbing courses, excursions run by the Catinaccio Alpine Centre,
horse-riding, carriage rides, mountain bike tours, golfing at the Karerpass or in Petersberg, daytrips to Lake Garda or Venice,
a round trip of the Dolomites…
Relax in the nearby outdoor pool, on the tennis court, with a Kneipp session in the wading pool, on a cycling tour
(electric bike rental available), while having fun with the kids in the playground or on a visit to a farm,
or exploring the local library… and all that in the breath-taking scenery of the Dolomites.

On 26 June 2009, the Dolomites were made a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This status reflects the overwhelming beauty and the unique
variety of plants and animals in what are sometimes referred to as the world's most beautiful mountains.
A paradise, waiting to be discovered.
Welschnofen in the heart of the Dolomites is a true Alpine pearl
Thanks to its alpine character, Welschnofen-Karersee was awarded the status of "Alpine Pearl" in 2006,
an award that also stands for a transport concept that is gentle on the environment.
This is why we offer you the Mobilcard
ar-free holidays in the Dolomites. The Rosengarten-Latemar holiday region offers a special "Mobilcard"
which entitles you to use all public bus services over a 7-day period for a fee of just 8 EUR.
Children up to the age of 6 go free. For children and young people between 6 and 16 years of age,
a reduced ticket is available at a rate of 4 EUR.
Several beautiful panoramic hiking tours start directly in the village. Chair lifts take you up
Rosengarten and Latemar Mountains to altitudes of 2200 m.
Make sure to also find out about the special offers and great weekly programmes of the Welschnofen Karersee Tourist Office.
